I still struggle with them Randy,

They look similar to our Eastern Great Egret Ardea modesta


Allan did you dial in any exposure compensation? and what metering mode did you use?

0 EV and Matrix although there was a lot of -.3 EV. I chimp every shot and make changes.
LR can fix a lot of blown whites even on a D500. On a D5 it seems to be able to fix almost anything.
