The D7500 only recently came out.
I would not expect it to be replaced any time soon.

D7500 is 2 1/2 years old. The D7600 is expected soon, I'm waiting to at least see what it is before considering getting a D7500.

Nikon has typically run sales through the holidays and sometimes into the 1st quarter of the next year. A lot of times, the holiday price is as good as it gets, but I have sometimes seen B&H up the free gift they sometimes offer with some gear. The question you may want to ask is when do you need a body?

It is mid 2020 and my D7500 now just sits around collecting dust and used only for eBay posts. I don't believe the D7600 will ever come. The Z50 seems to be the next step from there and with the Z30 maybe coming I think well be seeing more DX mirrorless from now on.
